Who will lead the webinar?


Veronika Štěpánková - has a PhD in Biochemistry from Masaryk University in Brno. Currently she works in the South Moravian Innovation Center as a startup consultant. Here, she helps promising young companies start their business and succeed in the market. Between 2013 and 2019, she worked as a CEO in Enantis, the first biotechnology spin-off from Masaryk University specialized in protein engineering. Prior to this, Veronika held a research position at the Research Centre for Toxic Compounds in the Environment, Masaryk University. She extended her expertise in industrial biotechnology during her research stays at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and National Institutes of Health in the USA. She has authored or co-authored several peer-reviewed scientific publications and two patents.
